Recipe of Agua Cebada

Agua de Cebada (barley water literal translation) is a refreshing drink made from Malta consumed in the south of Valencia in Spain, especially in Alicante. This drink was born in the Greek philosophical schools, medical and mathematics, this drink was recommended by Plato, Hippocrates and Pythagoras to stimulate the intelligence of their students, being perfect for concentration and thinking ability. The development of this drink is back in mileir twentieth century.

Here are the ingredient Recipe of Agua Ceba or Cebada:
1- 2 liters of water or 8 glasses of waterfrom 25cl
2- 150 g ground malt or glass and a half
3-10 tablespoons of sugar tablespoon

Preparation
Pour water in a high saucepan and heat over medium heat, and when the water begins to boil, add the ground malt, sugar and place over low heat, stirring for about 10-15 minutes and remove from fire. If water begins to spill off the gas. Then back again.
