Easy recipe of flan de horchata

Horchata is a vegetable milk widely consumed in the region of Valencia in Spain. In this region is cultivated , the tiger nut which is the basis for the horchata.

Here's an original recipe, a very easy dessert to cook and very refreshing.

We need :
- 1 liter horchata Chufi
- 5 big eggs
- 100 g sugar
- Liquid caramel Royal

Heat the oven with the thermostat at maximum.




We put a pan of water to prepare the Bain Marie.
We beat 5 eggs in a bowl with a pinch of salt. Add sugar and a liter of horchata. We beat everything for 30 seconds.

In a cake mold, we went through the walls of the mold the liquid caramel Royal, and put the preparation in the mold Chufi horchata. We put in the oven the cake pan in a water Mary bath during 30-40 minutes

NB: To see if the custard is cooked, pierced with the tip of a knife, and if the knife is clean means you are ready to remove it from the oven. Let cool for 2 hours and then put them in the refrigerator for 4 hours. We serve chilled.
