Pacharán (patxaran in Basque) is a liqueur, whose alcohol content is between 25 and 30% by volume, obtained by macerating sloes, fruit color blue-black blackthorn (Prunus spinosa) in aniseed spirits, characteristic the regions of the Basque Country, Navarra and Aragon. It is a sweet liquor to drink in moderation.
